The Champion in 2012 well be...

So what does it take to win a championship under the Chase format? Consistency, for one. Definitely perseverance, combined with a bit of luck. And it doesn't hurt if you can win races along the way.

When trying to compare Chases -- and come up with a subjective list of the five best performances -- it's impossible to rely on one specific statistic, because there isn't a definitive common thread.

And then there are the "near-miss" drivers, who strung together finishes that should have been good enough to win the title most years, only to have been beaten by someone who put together an exceptional run over the same 10 races.

Everyone is hoping for new face this year to win Championship.

As i see everyone is starting to pick there driver who they think well win this years championship and seat at head table in Las Vega in couple weeks or more. There are 12 good drivers that are in Chase this year Jimmie Johnson, Jeff Gordon, Tony Stewart, Kasey Kahne, Dale Jr & and other more.

Well all know what name comes mine to me who well win Championship in 2012 and that is Tony Stewart to win hes fourth Championship this year, yeah i know i can't hide this from you guys y'all know I'm "Smoke Fan all way"! He has been running good lately at track, he has three wins under hes belt so far. Last year he won five of ten Chase race to Carl Edwards 0 race.

Here Tony Stewart: In Depth Stats before Chase on Sunday:

  • Track Type Races Wins   Top 5 Top 10 Average Start Average Finish
  • Road Course 28            7     12     19        8.7                9.4
  • Intermediate Track 310    26    111    181      15.8                 12.2
  • Short Track 83            7      26     42      15.4              13.7
  • Superspeedway 69            7      23     36      14.7              14.3

Tony Stewart has won five of ten races last year, drivers have been asked how many races people can win to win chase they said three or four race.Next 10 race should be interesting on how things go and how points well be at when of Homestead in Nov.

We well see if I'm right at end of this season. May best driver win championship in Nov.
