Elliott Sadler, who is racing for a championship in the No. 2 RCR NASCAR Nationwide Car, will not be with Richard Childress Racing next season according to the owner.
"I think he's gone somewhere else...we're disappointed, you know, he's had his best season" said owner Richard Childress on Sirius NASCAR radio Saturday afternoon.
Sadler has been rumored to join Joe Gibbs Racing and be apart of their Nationwide team next season but nothing has been confirmed.
Sadler currently has a 12-point advantage over second place Ricky Stenhouse Jr. in the NASCAR Nationwide Series points standings with nine races left in the 2012 season.
