With the annual visit of the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series at Atlanta Motor Speedway coming up next weekend, activities for fans are coming together each day for race weekend. Fans can stay in tune with everything Atlanta Motor Speedway with the launch of its new mobile app to enhance the fan experience at AMS.
The app is available as a free download on both Apple and Android devices. Download information may be found at www.atlantamotorspeedway.com/app.
The mobile app allows fans to instantly access facility maps, obtain race weekend schedules, get the latest AMS news and also access other race weekend fan information.
Fans can also access a schedule of on-track activity, fan events, including the Coca-Cola® Fan Stage schedule, and a listing of scheduled driver appearances.

Fans will have several opportunities to meet the brand new Atlanta Motor Speedway “Rev It Up Crew” during the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series AdvoCare 500 weekend, Aug. 31-Sept. 2. The Crew will perform a dance routine and take part in a Q&A session with fans on the Coca-Cola® Fan Stage, all before making their way to the pre-race stage for the AdvoCare 500. Fans are welcome to stop by and visit with the girls, get autographs and take photos with the team.

Ticket Upgrades Available
Pit Passes
Weekend pit passes are available for $125, giving fans access to the pits prior to green flag competition each day throughout race weekend. A ticket for that day’s race must accompany the pit pass for that day. Friday or Saturday only access is available for $75 and Sunday only pit access is $100. Customers must be 14 years of age or older to enter the pits on Friday and Saturday, with no age limit on Sunday.
Stagefront Pass for Fast Cars & Guitars pre-race concert, presented by Bad Boy Buggies, featuring Montgomery Gentry
A $49 stagefront pass allows race fans to not only see a concert by Montgomery Gentry, but also gives them a close-up view of NASCAR Sprint Cup Series driver introductions!
Fan Zone
Richard Petty’s 1992 STP Pontiac Grand Prix SE Race Car
Richard Petty, The King of NASCAR, ran his 1992 Cup Season as his farewell Fan Appreciation Tour. Petty concluded his 34-year racing career on November 15, 1992 at the Atlanta Motor Speedway in the legendary 1992 STP Pontiac. On the 94th lap, Petty was involved in an accident causing the car to go up in flames. Petty was fortunate to walk away uninjured. His crew was able to get the car back on the track to finish the race. After the race, Petty circled the track to salute his fans one last time in the trademark STP Pontiac. Visit the famed car located in the Fan Zone at the Goody’s display.
Georgia College of Construction
Visit the Georgia College of Construction display to learn about their Heavy Equipment and Crane Training with Job Placement Assistance. The GCC is approved for VA Education Benefits and offers enrollees three, six or nine week programs. Visit the GCC in the Fan Zone to learn how to get paid to play in the dirt.
AdvoCare
Visit the AdvoCare tent in the Fan Zone to take part in interactive games and an iPad giveaway! The display will include a Quick Tire Changing Game from Richard Petty Motorsports, free sample packs of the new SPARK-Flavor and a chance to win one of 10 iPads! Winners will be notified via text and can claim their prize at the AdvoCare tent. Fans can also see driver appearances by Aric Armirola, Blake Koch and David Starr.
Coca-Cola® Fan Stage
The Coca-Cola® Fan Stage will return once again for the 2012 AdvoCare 500 weekend, with a wide variety of activities for fans to take in each day at the speedway. Brought to you by the Coca-Cola® Racing Family, the Coca-Cola® Fan Stage is located behind the Earnhardt grandstand next to Gate 15.
